Challenges Faced

Challenge 1: Difficult interaction with Partners and Clients using Google Workspace

Initially, the ETICAS internal team tried to migrate their organization from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365, but it was unsuccessful. This difficulty ignited the search for an experienced partner with a Microsoft 365 Solutions Designation in Modern Work.

Challenge 2: Reducing the migration risk of lost data or system downtime

Their goal was to ensure their cloud-based transition was safe and efficient while providing guidance and support on their Microsoft 365 licensing needs within the European Union. We presented a clear licensing plan, to streamline their utilization and operating expenses.

Challenge 3: Inability to perform migration internally

ETICAS did not have a dedicated internal IT team. Thus, the ne Digital migrations team supported their administrative and project management team to act as leaders and gurus to their internal team user experience to support along with us a seamless migration with a smooth transition.

Solution Provided

We covered full data migration for each collaboration tool with minimal disruption and full post-migration validation.
On the Google Cloud side, we start analyzing apps, usage profiles and storage for their productivity tools with a G Suite to Office approach:

• Google Drive cloud storage, Google Docs (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Google Gmail, Google Sites, Google Teams, Google Workspace Directory, Google Meet.

On the Microsoft Office 365 migration environment:

• One Drive for Business cloud storage, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Entra ID (previously Microsoft Azure AD) to implement single sign-on, Microsoft Teams.

• Finally, we review if the organization has any sort of automation engine or business integration tooling that we can help transition to the Microsoft PowerApps platform.
